Hey y'all! A lot has happened since we last posted. Sam Marie took a fabuloso trip to Utahoso with some friends from Austin, we got four "pullets" (baby chicks), the Beeb started to definitively show, and Mike wrote part of the Texas budget (well, that's still in progress). Here are some highlights of the last few weeks.

The Beeb's first hike...11 miles!
Arches National Park

If only the Beeb's exit route were so spacious...
Arches National Park
PS - Sam Marie got yelled at by photographers for being under the arch.

Don't worry - there's an elevator for pregnant ladies off to the right.

Oh where, oh where, has my mitten gone?
Monument Valley, Utah

Sam Marie thinks, "Maybe if I puff out my cheeks it will distract from my..."

"BELLY!"
- 24 weeks and counting -

It's time to meet "The Ladies", at age 2 days.
Don't let the fuzzy exterior fool you - they're tough as nails!

All "The Ladies" are named for places special to us from our honeymoon.
(Well, three places and one airline.)
Here they are at a week and a half:

Japamala is ready for her close up.

Gunung Mulu will not be outdone.
PS - go back and read that name again a few times, just for fun.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...Berjaya!

Good luck pronouncing this one...it's Kinabatangan!

Mike likes to keep his chicks on a tight leash.

You know what they say, birds with no adult feathers stick together.

Lunch? Cuddle buddies? Squeaky toys?

No, it's kitty television!!
Seriously, Gramps has never tried to snag a chick.
She just likes to watch them through their box.
